I am honored to be the featured artists for the November show at the Thornwood Gallery in Houston. The show hangs from November 1 through November 27. The gallery is located at 1201 Birdsall. I am so pleased to let you know that the gallery with which I am affiliated in Houston--Thornwood Gallery--has opened their gallery in the Dallas and metroplex area. The gallery is located at 1605 Dragon Street in the Dallas Design District. I am so pleased with the September show that featured my work at the Russell Collection Gallery in Austin, Texas. The opening reception was packed with people, and the "buzz" was really there. All the works of the artists were beautiful, and everyone who attended the show was certainly impressed. I am thrilled that a number of my works were sold, and it was a very successful show for me. The Miller Fine Art Gallery in Salado, Texas, has moved to a beautiful new location. The gallery is now located at 380 South Main in a stunning new building right next to the Stagecoach Inn. The year 2007 has been my best one ever in terms of sales. It is very gratifying to me to have excellent sales in each of my ongoing series: Abstract, Abstract Landscape, Landscape, What Remains, San Miguel and my New Phase Series. As you may remember, one of my 48" x 48" paintings was purchased in 2006 to hang in the spectacular Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas which opened in April last year. I am thrilled and excited to now learn that the painting--"Stars on the Water"--has been used in a movie being filmed in the Red Rock! The film is titled "21", stars Kevin Spacey and is scheculed to open in March 2008. The painting hangs in the "High Rollers Lounge". You can see "Stars on the Water" on the Paintings Page of this web site. Be sure to see my painting the next time you visit Las Vegas, and look for it in the the movie "21." I hope it made it through the final cut.
